Dr. Justin G. LaMont is a board certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee reconstructive surgery and arthroscopy of the knee. Dr. LaMont is a clinical Associate professor of orthopaedic surgery and is a faculty member of the NYU Medical Center-Hospital for Joint Diseases. He is on the teaching faculty at the NYU School of Medicine. Dr. LaMont is chief of the Orthopaedic Service at the NYU Langone Medical Center – Tisch Hospital.

Dr. LaMont’s surgical expertise includes Total Hip Replacement (Anterior Approach) and Total Knee Replacement, Hip Resurfacing, Minimally-Invasive Total Joint Replacement, Computer-Navigated Total Joint Replacement, and Arthroscopy of the knee. Dr. LaMont’s clinical interests are treatment of arthritis of the knee and hip, Meniscal tears of the knee and Anterior Cruciate Ligament tears of the knee.

Treatment is directed at helping individuals maintain active lifestyle after treatment of these conditions.
